As a skeptic of lentils, I was pleasantly surprised how good this tasted and how easy it was to make. The smell of smoked paprika was around but the taste was not like the smell. The flavor blend was well balanced and tasty.

I asked for reviews from the picky kids. 6 yr old: it’s ok but add more chicken (she only ate the chicken).
8 yr old: the chicken and bread dipped in the soup were good.
11 year old: “4 stars. The best thing I ate all day. Good when you feel sick and tired.”
Note: I didn’t have rotisserie chicken so I added some cut up chicken breast a few minutes before the onion, carrot and celery then added those veggies on top of the browned chicken.
